Canadian House Porn!

Today, we here at Dinosaur Casserole celebrate Canada by: (1) Trying to eat it (please see photo at right); (2) Encouraging you to go visit the brandy new Made in Canada blog, Hot Soup On A Cold Day; and (3) Trying to come up with a potential bookstore and vacation getaways for the lovely Cake. In this last respect, we fear that we have failed miserably by looking in the WRONG PART of Canada, yet we hope that it is the thought that counts.

Anyhow: OOH CANADA! I might add more during the day if I get some actual work done. Please feel free to search for your own favorite Canadian properties and I will post them today (yes, I know no one will want to do this and it is crazy as I type this--whatevah).

1) A nice little spot for a bookstore! Minutes from Keji Park (geez--that IS a good thing, right? I have no idea, but I'm pretty sure it must be a really, really good thing)! Comes with garage! 1.2 acres, built 61 years ago, $25,000, yearly tax is $225! Buy the elegant house (French doors! Period tub! No extra charge for adjective "elegant"!) across the road for $89,000! Small lake behind house!
2) Buy the church manse for $92,500! Ample room for gardens and home business! In the heart of the villlage, adjacent to a park, minutes to Keji! (Again, I have never been to Keji but I'm positive this is a good thing!) 3) Surrounded by nature and the Magic of the Medway, this simple and spacious cottage/cabin thingy comes with 375 feet of direct riverfrontage and a free bird motel. Fireplace! Wood stove! So what about the outhouse! You know you've used one before and lived to tell the tale! Who needs a toilet when you have the Magic of the Medway right outside your verandah? NOT ME. This looks like a happy spot for $49,000.
4) Cottage in New Tusket! Walk down hill to lake! Two downstairs bedrooms and a large loft which over looks the lake! A BATHROOM! Other rooms! A wood stove! All for $39,900 (Magic of Medway not available but would cost at least $10,000 extra if available). Reply to: hous-713886357@craigslist.org. NO. THIS IS NOT ONE OF "THOSE CRAIGSLIST THINGS.")
